Singing Goddess makes a statement at the Upstate Women's Show.
Singing Goddess took a stand during the high energy weekend at the Upstate Women’s Show in August 2011. When told this was only SG’s second public event, both vendors and patrons agreed owner Sharon Hadden and her assistant and sister Erica Craig made a dynamic duo.
SG established valuable contacts with over 500 people at the show. It boasted a weekend prize giveaway for a chance to sample a soak salt and a sea salt scrub in a Goddess Mini Set. The variety of SG scents, friendly faces and inviting exhibit layout lured customers to what Hadden called her “beauty bar”.
“My website has a scent gallery for people to read about the scents; I wanted everyone that passed by to be able to witness that scent gallery come to life.”-Hadden
The beauty bar allowed patrons to sample three of SG’s signature scents, as well as a newly invented mixture of Grapefruit and Eucalyptus that is yet to be named.
When asked what they would do differently if they had a chance to do it all over again, Craig answered, “More favor boxes, more samples, and most definitely a credit card machine!”
The entrepreneurial duo of SG says they will continue to work toward the goal of their company: “providing beauty lovers with healthy products, services and health and wellness education vital to their wellbeing”.
